I'm Ron Mason, I'm a 40 something guy who is nuts about sports. I love all sports, my love is Hockey my passion is Baseball.

A bit about me, I'm a family guy and married to the best women in the world. I enjoy spending time with my kids, long walks on the beach and starry sky's.

I grew up in the City of Detroit and at 18 went into the military to keep out of trouble. I spent 13 months in a hostile area and after 4 years got out and lived in California.

In San Diego I ran the hockey shop and enjoyed playing the sport. My rec team took second place in the 1995 California state Champ tourney.I continued and played hockey at the college level and very high adult level.

Upon moving back to Michigan I started working with the 17U USA men's hockey program as well as the 1995 Honey Baked AAA team doing equipment work. While doing that I managed Suburban Hockey's pro shops. On top of that I did some writing and work for the Commissioner of The CCHA. I moved to the ACE sport shops and continued my hockey work.

While doing that I was attending school to get my degree in Firefighting. I received my degree and paramedic license and joined my cities professional fire department. It was my dream job, and in 2008 I was working with a patient and suffered a knee injury that would cost me my career as a fire fighter.

Currently I'm back in school for Nursing.
